The Summer Success Scholarship was created to allow currently enrolled students to enroll in Summer Session courses under conditions in which they normally would not be able to attend. The goal of this opportunity is to ensure their continued academic success as well as encouragement to stay at the university and graduate on time. The scholarship award amount is up to $2,000 and is designed to cover the summer sessions tuition and mandatory fees. The intent is to reduce or eliminate the recipient’s work/loan component of the summer financial aid package. The application dates are January 1st to January 31st.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Current enrolled undergraduate students
• Minimum enrolled units across all three summer sessions: 8 Units
• No minimum GPA required
• No requirements to comply with SAP
• Demonstrated financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships

Directions for Applying:

1. Access the UCI’s ScholarshipUniverse platform
2. Login with your UCInetID credentials
3. You will be asked a series of profile questions to help match you to all the scholarships you are eligible for.
4. After completing the matching questions, click on the Applications tab to access all scholarship applications.
5. Complete the application for the Summer Success Scholarship
6. Once you complete your application, you are all set!

Application dates are January 1st to January 31st.
