Note: Financial aid students from visiting UC campuses must submit the Enrollment Form. For details, review our section on financial aid for visiting UC students.
Visiting US Students
Students visiting from other U.S. colleges are invited to attend UCI Summer Session. It is important to check with your advisor (major, college, school or undergraduate dean/vice provost) to ensure transferability of credit for the courses you take at UCI.

High School Students
I am graduating from high school in 2023 and…
-
- I am planning to attend UCI. Join us before fall term begins for Freshman Edge.
- I am planning to attend another college or university. Open enrollment in Summer Session allows you to get an early start on college.
I will graduate from high school in 2024 or 2025 and…
-
- I have an unweighted high school GPA of 3.0 or higher in college preparatory classes. I have a strong reason and desire to enroll in one UCI course only. Enroll in pre-approved courses numbered 1-99 without special prerequisites through open enrollment. Complete an Enrollment Form and submit it to the Summer Session office. You will need to provide a copy of your most current high school transcript along with your enrollment form. Please Note: Please be aware that courses will continue to be taught at a college level. We encourage students to make the appropriate adjustments to ensure their success in these courses. All students are responsible for making the necessary changes/updates to their schedules prior to the Summer Session deadlines.
International Students
International students continuing their studies at a UC campus, or newly admitted for the fall are welcome to attend Summer Session. For registration procedures and fees, simply follow the instructions for UC students. Enroll online or submit an enrollment form.
