Academic Courses

By taking classes in the summer, students have the opportunity to acclimate to the expectations of UC Irvine coursework and begin completing major courses and/or general education requirements before the Fall Quarter begins. Smaller classes during Summer Session also means more one-on-one time with professors or TA’s!

Course & Program Fees

Financial Aid is available for students taking courses this summer. If you would like to be considered for summer financial aid, you must complete both the following steps by their respective deadlines.

Mandatory Campus Fee

The mandatory campus fee for 2022 is $185. The fee is non-refundable.

Pay For 8

Maximize your summer by taking more than 8 units. That’s right, students can take any combination of units (under 10 units per session) in Sessions 1 or 2 and only pay for 8! Read more UCI Summer Session’s incentive here.
