Summer Bridge

Summer Bridge is a 6-week summer residential program designed to provide incoming UCI students an opportunity to make the best possible academic and social transition from high school to college. Students earn UCI credit and get a head start working towards their degree while meeting other new students, staff, and faculty. After the summer, scholars receive additional benefits throughout the academic year including: personalized guidance from a professional staff member, peer mentoring, priority enrollment, tutoring scholarships, rental books, skill-building workshops, and community-building opportunities.

Eligibility

Full and partial scholarships are available based on California residency (includes AB540/undocumented students) and first-generation and/or income eligible status.
