Join in several cultural/recreational activities offering opportunities to interact with other UCI Summer Session students.

Housing

As a Summer Session student at UCI, you have the opportunity to experience living on campus in one of our newest residential communities, Arroyo Vista.

1. Take advantage of the Housing Placement Service offered to international students through the department of English & Certificates (ECI) at UC Irvine Extension. If you choose this option, please complete Page D of the International Student Application form.

The following are some of the services provided with this option in addition to all the amenities described in the general housing section at housing.uci.edu:

• Increased probability of placement (general housing fills up rather quickly and early on, making it very difficult for international applicants to secure a place)
• UC Irvine students/staff serving as live-in Housing Assistants to develop a sense of community and organize some cultural and recreational events
• Double-occupancy room in move-in condition (with an extensive housewares package that includes bedding, linens, towels, dishes, cookware and cooking utensils)

Notes: Homestay available upon request (housing@unx.uci.edu). Contact Housing for more information. If University Dormitories reach full capacity or applicant is over the age of 25, applicants will be given the option of choosing University Apartments at an increased price.
