Course and Program Fees

The following is a list of fees for the 2020 Transfer Edge program.

Note: Transfer Edge students are considered admitted UC students, and can take advantage of the “Pay for Only 8” Incentive Program. Students will pay for only 8 units in per unit course fees, but by taking part in both six-week Summer Sessions, most students would complete 14 units total. International Transfer Edge students must enroll in a minimum of 6 units to meet student visa requirements.

Additional course materials fees (non-refundable) may apply depending on your chosen course. The $279 per unit fee is based on the current UC tuition. The Summer Session tuition is subject to change by action of the UC Regents at any time for all UC campuses, including UC Irvine. Course fees are refundable up until July 2nd, 2020 for Session I courses, or August 14th, 2020 for Session II courses. Students may apply for a refund of course fees on a Summer Session Course Change Request form.

Housing Fees:

Housing is not offered for Summer 2020.

Refund Policy

The mandatory campus fee and course materials fees are non-refundable. Courses may be dropped for a refund of the per unit course fees until July 2, 2020 (Session I) and August 14, 2020 (Session II). No refunds of any kind are given for drops after these dates.

If you paid by credit card and are entitled to a refund, your credit card will be credited. If you paid with cash, check, money order or cashier’s check, you will receive a check from the University Accounting Office.
